We are an interdisciplinary team with a broad knowledge of primary care. We also cover numerous specialist areas and can provide you and your child with holistic and individualised care.
Skills
Preventive check-ups
The professional organisation of paediatricians pädiatrie schweiz recommends regular check-ups from birth to adolescence. These are documented in the health booklet.
Ultrasound examinations
Sonography plays an important role in paediatrics: the examinations are easily available, can be carried out quickly and painlessly and do not involve X-rays. We scan the hips of newborn babies, the brain or spinal cord of infants and organs, soft tissue or the musculoskeletal system of children.
Emergency treatments
For example, for the following problems:
acute respiratory diseases
infections
pain
Wounds (we glue and stitch)
Bone fractures (we take x-rays in the neighbouring MRI and plaster cast)
Developmental paediatric assessment and recording of attention disorders
We use the IDS-2 test procedure (intelligence and development scales for children and adolescents aged 5 to 20) and the Conners 3 questionnaire to examine abnormalities in the child's development in more detail.
Counselling, support and case management
Our interdisciplinary team is particularly suitable for children with chronic or special illnesses. We can rely on a wide range of expertise, with the specialists working hand in hand. A reference specialist coordinates and is the personal contact person for the family.
Specialist paediatric skin consultation
Around one in five babies has particularly sensitive, dry skin that is prone to inflammation: atopic dermatitis is common and sometimes requires very specialised support and treatment.
Our care expert Dr. Corinne Brunner has broad expertise in all aspects of children's skin and treats not only eczema, but also wounds and other skin problems.
Paediatric physiotherapy
Paediatric physiotherapy can help with a wide range of issues and problems: Babies with crooked neck, children with developmental delays or adolescents after an accident benefit from the empathetic expertise of Corina Andres.
We look forward to seeing you and your children!
